It’s that time of the year again. Apple announced their “It’s Glowtime” keynote for September so here’s what to expect.
Just like clockwork, Apple has announced the date for their September keynote. Entitled “It’s Glowtime”, the keynote will kick off on September 9 at 10am Pacific time (September 1am here in Hong Kong). Some have speculated that the keynote will focus heavily on Apple Intelligence due to the design of the graphics that came along with the announcement. The speculation does make sense since this keynote will undoubtedly unveil the brand new iPhone.
Here’s what to expect from Apple in its September keynote.
“It’s Glowtime”: Apple most likelt to announce iPhone 16 and more in September keynote
iPhone 16
It’s almost certain that the San Cupertino-based company is going to unveil the brand new iPhone in this keynote as they’ve done like clockwork for the past few years. The iPhone 16 will be coming with iOS 18 and Apple’s brand new Apple Intelligence. There are bound to be a few features exclusively for the iPhone 16 (more specifically the Pro and Pro Max) that will make use of the AI and the to-be-expected brand new chip. The big question is whether we’ll see a new design for this lineup or will it solely be the software making the biggest difference?
Apple Watch 10 and Apple Watch Ultra 3
Like they do every year, Apple is also bound to unveil the latest Apple Watch models. Rumours are floating around saying that the Watch 10 is getting a design upgrade. As for the Ultra 3, many are saying that only a few tweaks and upgrades should be expected with no drastic change. These are all rumours, of course, and we’ll find out what the truth is come September 9.
Brand new AirPods and (maybe) an update to the AirPods Max
Apple didn’t have any updates for the AirPods last year in their “Wanderlust” keynote so they’re most likely to unveil upgrades this year. The brand new iteration of the base AirPods model will probably get the current-gen AirPod Pro’s chip, the H2, which means they’re probably introducing the H3 in this keynote.
One thing that hasn’t been updated in a while is the AirPods Max, which was released all the way back in December 2020. Could this be the keynote where Apple finally announces the AirPods Max 2 or will the original be the company’s “one-and-done” for headphones? Guess we’ll find out.
