More than 230 brands will participate and offer unique products and exclusive discounts across six categories. Shop for apparel and accessories, personal care and cosmetics, home and living, food and health supplements, as well as gadgets.

The festival will be divided into two parts. The first will be the Discount Month throughout August, during which an official campaign website will be available to all participating companies. There, it will list the featured products and special deals.

The next part will focus on live-streaming e-commerce. In late August, the HKTDC will invite 20 influencers to hold live-streaming sessions on major e-commerce platforms. They will promote 60 local brands and introduce Hong Kong products to consumers. As of now, these are the only details available. Stay tuned for more updates in the coming weeks.

Strengthening Hong Kong’s appeal as a shopping mecca

The Hong Kong government fully supports the event. It aligns with the 2023 Policy Address to assist SMEs in their business expansion through e-commerce channels. “The brand of ‘Hong Kong’ has always been renowned for its high quality. Hong Kong’s products hold good brand value in the mainland and across the region,” said Financial Secretary Paul Chan.

Meanwhile, Executive Director of the HKTDC Stephen Liang added that the event has already attracted the participation of over 230 brands. “It will help local SMEs gain practical experience and prepare them for expanding their mainland e-commerce operations,” he said.
