BTS’ Jin Joins Gucci As Their Global Brand Ambassador

Just a few months after finishing his mandatory military service, Jin of BTS is joining Gucci as its newest Global Brand Ambassador.

Rumours of the partnership abound after fans spotted a military discharge gift from the brand in front of the HYBE building, BTS’ agency. Now, Gucci has made it official with its latest announcement. Jin will be joining fellow Korean stars Hanni, Lee Jung-jae, Park Gyu-young, and Jay Park in representing the brand.

Regarding his latest role, Jin spoke about his admiration for Gucci’s Creative Director Sabato De Sarno. “Gucci is an iconic brand with a long-standing heritage and modernity,” he said. “It is meaningful and thrilling to be a part of such a house.”

De Sarno has also spoken kindly about the new Gucci Ambassador. He praised Jin’s “warm and kind personality” as well as his “unique” style. “He is a generous and extraordinary artist who is able to move people with his music, which makes us even more honoured to share this journey with him,” he said.

Gucci names BTS’ Jin as Brand Ambassador with photo campaign

The announcement comes with a new photo campaign. In the pictures, the K-pop star sports Gucci’s spring/summer 2025 menswear collection. ARMYs can expect to see more of Jin representing Gucci in future initiatives and events as its new Brand Ambassador.

A global sensation

As a member of BTS, Jin needs no more introduction. The K-pop boy group has risen to global fame since their debut in 2013. They made history as the first Korean artists to top the Billboard Hot 100 chart. Later, they won multiple ‘Top Social Artist’ awards at the Billboard Music Awards. Not only that, but they have also received numerous accolades in their home country of Korea for their music.

Outside of BTS, Jin has also displayed his versatility and talent with his debut solo single, The Astronaut. Aside from Gucci, Jin is also the first global ambassador for jewellery brand Fred. Additionally, he has a partnership with Ottogi’s Jin Ramen noodles, which shares his name. Last month, he also became an Olympic torchbearer during the torch relay, adding to his already impressive portfolio.
