Croque
The former managers of the French restaurant Louise in PMQ have set up a new cafe and sandwich shop in Central. Clément Jacquel and Rémi Brunet team up for Croque, a new venue that offers quality yet affordable sandwiches and drinks with artisanal French ingredients. As its name suggests, the menu is centred around the French classic, Croque Monsieur. It’s simple but it’s a timeless favourite. Other offerings also pay homage to French traditions. With each sandwich, only the freshest and finest French ingredients are used with ample serving that will make you full. La Croque Vita is a hearty choice while The Spicy Rooster gives that extra kick. Make sure to also get any of the side dishes and the homemade French Toast Brûlée.

Coffeelin
Coffelin opens its fourth branch in the historic Oil Street, Fortress Hill. Taking inspiration from the laid-back yet buzzy cafes in Milan, Coffelin is also bringing the taste of Milanese coffee house culture to the neighbourhood. And just like in Milan where espresso is the speciality, Coffeelin has that too, but the baristas are more than happy to make cappuccinos, lattes, and macchiatos. All the cuppa is made using La Stroica 1991, the signature blend from Torrefazione II Grista found on Milan’s outskirts. Coffeelin serves hearty breakfast dishes in addition to an all-day menu.
