Apple has officially announced the winners of its 2024 Design Awards featuring 14 best-in-class apps and games chosen from 42 finalists.
“It’s inspiring to see how developers are using our technology to create exceptional apps and games that enhance the lives of users,” said Susan Prescott, Apple’s vice president of Worldwide Developer Relations. “This year’s winners have demonstrated how apps can create powerful and moving experiences — and we’re excited to celebrate their hard work and ingenuity at WWDC this year.”
From independent developers to The New York Times, the apps hail from development teams all around the world which were awarded for their stellar design, technical achievements, and innovation. One app and game each were chosen from seven categories including Delight and Fun, Inclusivity, Innovation, Interaction, Social Impact, Visual and Graphics, and Spatial Computing.
In addition to phone and tablet apps and games, we see an Apple Vision Pro program listed for the first time. Blackbox is a Vision Pro game that invites users to think about every corner of the spatial canvas via engaging puzzles. Take a look at the list of winners below.
