More about the Got7 maknae

Kim Yu-gyeom or simply Yugyeom, is a member of the group Got7 and half of the sub-unit Jus2. The singer-songwriter was born in Seoul but spent part of his childhood in Saudi Arabia. As a child, Yugyeom was already into music, taking trumpet, bass, and guitar lessons in addition to his interest in dance.

Yugyeom became a trainer in 2011 and officially debuted as part of Got7 in 2014 under JYP Entertainment. They released the EP ‘Got It?’ and Yugyeom continued to create choreographies for several of their tracks.

In 2021, Yugyeom and other members of Got7 parted ways with JYP and he signed with AOMG. He made his debut as a soloist with the release of the EP ‘Point of View: U’ where he collaborated with DeVita, Loco, Gray, Jay Park, and Punchnello. He continued to release songs and embarked on his first solo tour.

Earlier this year, he released his first full-length album, ‘Trust Me’ and shortly announced his next solo tour later this year. If you missed Yugyeom’s concert in Macau last year, this is your chance to see him live.
