2. Hong Kong International Literary Festival

Hong Kong’s largest literary festival is back this month! The festival will bring emerging and established writers to Hong Kong to share their love of storytelling. The programme includes a series of panel discussions, book talks, literary lunches, workshops, readings, and performances. This year’s line-up includes Diana Reid, James Zimmerman, Liu Ka Chun, Fuchsia Dunlop, and more.

3. Jungle Island Music Festival

Jungle Island Music Festival is an all-new independent homegrown music festival in Hong Kong set to make its debut on the coast of Chi Ma Wan Peninsula. The off-the-beaten-track and Sampan-only accessible Tai Long Wan Bay will serve as the backdrop for the three-day festival. The line-up of fresh and homegrown artists will grace two different stages. So, gear up for Shumking Mansion, Mengy, and The Afroseas ft. Global Natives, and so much more. 4. A-Maze-ing Harbourfront

Wan Chai’s newest harbourfront events space will be hosting five-themed mazes as part of a new experience. The A-Maze-ing Harbourfront project will run for 10 days, free of charge. Experience five different zones starting with the Time Zone which will show the relationship between light and shadow. Infinite Mirror Maze will be an amazing display of reflections. Otherwise, find yourselves Lost in the Woods in the third maze, a labyrinth made of bamboo panels. Snap photos at the photogenic Lightbox Maze or indulge in some activity at the Air Maze complete with trampolines, obstacles, and passages.

Rosewood Hong Kong’s Carlyle & Co. will be hosting Saki Hoshino and Napol ‘Joe’ Jantraget of Michelin Bib Gourmand Samlor and Michelin-starred Nawa for a four-night pop-up. ComplexCon will take place outside the US for the first time. Its debut in Asia (and Hong Kong) coincides with Art Month, adding to the excitement. For this year’s Art@Harbour, the Leisure and Cultural Services Department will team up with art collective teamLab, Hong Kong artists, and other art partners to present large-scale outdoor installations. The stunning artworks will be on display on both sides of Victoria Harbour. Capping off Art Month is Art Central, which will be back for its ninth edition. There will be over 90 galleries from around the world, making it the biggest arts programme yet since the inaugural edition in 2015. 12. Discovery Bay Easter Run
