Waterbomb Festival heads to Hong Kong for the first time

For now, only the June dates have been revealed. There is also an official Instagram page for the event, although there are no other posts. Klook also has a listing for the event. So, keep your eyes peeled for updates. This is going to be one of the hottest events this summer in addition to the return of the S20 Hong Kong Songkran Music Festival.

One of South Korea’s biggest summer events

South Korea’s Waterbomb Festival is one of the biggest summer music festivals in the country. It is much like the Summer Sonic in Japan, minus the water. Similar to S20 Hong Kong Songkran Music Festival, festival goers get drenched in water all while jamming to incredible music and performances.

In the past editions, several South Korean artists have graced the stage such as aespa, Jessi, Lee Young-ji, Crush, Oh My Girl, and more. The line-up for the performance in Seoul includes Sumi, Zico, Bibi, and more. Tickets for the South Korea dates are also available on the official website.

One of the highlights of the festival is the water fights, where players armed with water guns will need to lead their team to victory. There’s also a photo zone, food and drinks stalls, as well as a VVIP lounge for an experience like no other.
