K-pop fans in Hong Kong are in for a treat as Mamamoo member Solar announced she will hold her first solo concert tour in six years and Hong Kong and Macau are two of the stops.
She will perform in Hong Kong on July 7 at the AsiaWorld-Expo and in Macau on October 6 at Broadway Theatre.
The upcoming concerts will be part of her ‘Colours’ solo tour across Asia, which also includes shows in Manila, Kaohsiung, Kawasaki, Singapore, and Taipei. The announcement poster teases there will be more cities added in the future.

Solar, the leader and main vocalist of the group Mamamoo, will kick off the tour in Seoul followed by Manila. Then, she will visit Kaohsiung before heading to Kawasaki for a two-day show. She will welcome July with a performance in Hong Kong, followed by Taipei and Singapore. In October, she will greet fans in Macau.

More about Solar
Solar, whose real name is Kim Yong-sun, is the leader and vocalist of the girl group Mamamoo and its sub-unit, Mamamoo+. Besides being part of the group, Solar is also a solo artist. She released her first EP ‘Solar Emotion’ in 2018 followed by ‘容 : Face’ in 2022. In 2020, she dropped her single album ‘Spit it Out’ which gave her first-ever music show award win.
As her upcoming solo tour title suggests, Solar’s most recent project is the release of her third EP ‘Colours’ in April. She also ventured into musical acting with the production Mata Hari in 2022. In 2024, she took on the role of Esmeralda for the Notre Dame de Paris musical and performed across South Korea.
