And now we have Part 1 of season 4 to answer some burning questions:

- Where does Camille go after breaking up with Gabriel?
- Will Gabriel get a Michelin star?
- Will Sylvie’s new agency have smooth sailing after making an enemy out of JVMA?
Spoilers ahead!
‘Emily in Paris’ season 4 Part 1 ending explained
The season begins with Emily (Lily Collins) trying to resolve issues with Julien’s (Samuel Arnold) campaign for the brand AMI — an account Sylvie’s Agence Grateu manages, talking to Alfie (Lucien Laviscount) after the break-up and finding Camille (Camille Razzat), who has vanished without informing anyone.
With some help from Sylvie (Philippine Leroy-Beaulieu), Emily salvages the AMI campaign and speaks to Alfie who realises it’s too soon to have contact with her. Camille is in Giverny doing some thinking, Emily finds her there and they have a heart-to-heart. When they return to Paris, Camille is delighted to see Sofia (Melia Kreiling), who flew in from Greece, and they end up rekindling their romance.
So, where does the ending of episode 5 of Part I leave us? Emily and Gabriel are finally together (or are they?). After the initial turmoil, things seem a bit settled for this couple and they have a beautiful moment (cue the swooning) at Pont Neuf with the glittering Eiffel Tower in the background.
Meanwhile, after moving across the hall from Gabriel which in some way leads to her break-up with Sofia, Camille finally decides to visit a gynaecologist. Guess what? She’s not having a baby. The home pregnancy test she took was a false positive.
Another bombshell of Emily in Paris season 4 Part 1 comes when everyone, including Emily, finds out that Luc’s (Bruno Gouery) girlfriend Marianne (Laurence Gormezano) is not a Michelin inspector. She was fired from her job a year ago. It falls on Emily to let Gabriel, who has been going out of his way to get that star, know that he’s, in fact, not getting one. He lets loose that night by firing his new and snooty pastry chef and serving champagne all across.

Episode five ends with a teaser of what is to come next. Emily, Gabriel and Camille are shown skiing. Emily struggles with her skiis and finds help from a handsome stranger.
