The extensive docuseries welcomes the audience to relive the triumphs and setbacks, the greatest hits, the biggest disappointments and all the iconic moments of the band and its frontman.

According to Thank You, Goodnight: The Bon Jovi Story‘s official description, “As thrilling as the story of a once-in-a-lifetime talent is, it is even more rare that a legend like Jon Bon Jovi lets the world into his most vulnerable moments while he’s still living them. Forty years of personal videos, unreleased early demos, original lyrics and never-before-seen photos that chronicle the journey from Jersey Shore clubs to the biggest stages on the planet.”

The trailer opens with guitarist Richie Sambora posing questions like: “Are we telling the truth? Are we going to lie? What are we going to do?” Quickly, it transitions to glimpses of the band at the beginning of their career. In the next bit, keyboardist David Bryan expresses, “Five guys from nowhere, and if you work hard enough and dream big enough, you can make it.” Continuing, the trailer reveals snapshots of the band’s performances in the ’80s, featuring stadiums filled with people singing along to their songs.

It also includes interviews with key figures such as Jon Bon Jovi, Bruce Springsteen, Tico Torres, Richie Sambora, David Bryan, Phil X, John Shanks, Obie O’Brien, Everett Bradley, Doc McGee, Dorothea Bongiovi, Paul Korsilius and Dean Grillo.

Similarly, Jovi’s family members, like his brother Matt Bongiovi, and son Jake Bongiovi (Millie Bobby Brown‘s fiance) also appear in the series.
